Build a palette that works on social
A simple five-color set keeps captions, thumbnails, and brand graphics consistent. Start from a brand color or a vibe (warm amber, cool blue, soft pastel) and generate harmonious companions instead of picking random hex codes.
Use one strong accent for buttons and highlights, one or two neutrals for backgrounds and text, and supporting tones for borders or badges. High contrast between text and background keeps posts readable on mobile.
Where to use the hex codes
Copy hex values into Canva, Figma, CapCut overlays, or CSS. For lock-screen themes and story stickers, stick to two main colors so the UI does not fight your photo. Dark-mode friendly palettes should keep at least one near-black and one light text color.
